\r\nThe Khostinsky Museum of History was founded in 1995 based on collections gathered by veterans of war and labor of the Khostinsky District in the 1960s–1990s. The building was constructed before 1914. It previously housed the Khostinsky People's House and later the "Luch" cinema. After a new cinema with the same name was built in the center of Khosta, the old building housed the "Stroitel" club. The museum has two exhibition halls totaling 300 square meters, which present the history of the development of the resort industry in the Khostinsky District of Sochi. The museum has over 6,000 exhibits. Historians, tour guides and archivists work there. The museum welcomes schoolchildren, students and representatives of the tourism industry.
