About museum

The unique Yurkovka Gallery of Nizhny Novgorod is once again open to visitors. It showcases works by Alexander Nikolayevich Yurkov (1935–2014), including more than 200 exhibits from his own art gallery, established in 1998. He employed an unusual technique known as the "Florian mosaic." Thanks to his hard work, sense of humor, and care for people, A. N. Yurkov became an iconic figure in the city’s cultural life and continues to attract many tourists.
