Gallery 'Park'
About museum
In 2019 the ‘Park’ gallery opened in the Timiryazevsky District, becoming part of the Association ‘Exhibition Halls of Moscow’. It is the successor to the historic ‘Kovcheg’ gallery, which occupied this building from 1988 to 2017. The name ‘Park’ is connected to the fact that the district is one of the greenest in Moscow, with one third of its territory taken up by the Timiryazevsky Forest and the historic Dubki Park. The gallery offers visitors various exhibition and educational projects, and implements ideas of socio-urbanism, the principles of ‘good neighborliness’, and the concept of the ‘third place’. The aim of the ‘Park’ gallery is not only to present the public with diverse media projects and teach them to work in an interdisciplinary context, but also to introduce them to international historical and contemporary music.
