Exhibition “Beloozersk Historical”

The “Beloozersk Historical” exhibition presents the history of the town of Beloozersk, starting from the Stone Age. Here you can see materials from archaeological research, a model of the Beloozersk kremlin, 17 churches, furniture, interior items, coins, and personal belongings of the town’s merchants and townspeople. The exhibition also features materials on the creation and operation of the Mariinsk water system and the Volga–Baltic Waterway, the development of the fishing industry, the revolutionary events of the 20th century, collectivization and industrialization, the development of agriculture and industrial enterprises, as well as the Battle of Kulikovo, the War of 1812, the First World War and the Great Patriotic War, Afghanistan and Chechnya. The Hall of Military Glory tells visitors about the participation of Beloozersk residents in these events. The exhibition is equipped with interactive exhibits, animators, and light and audio effects. Museum staff conduct overview tours of the town and the exhibition, as well as the quest game “Treasure of the Moscow Treasury”.
