Stussi House
About museum
On June 12, 2018, the exhibition hall of the museum "Stussi House" was opened in the center of the Krasnye Baki settlement. The building was erected by Theodor Stussi — a Swiss national who served as manager to Prince Trubetskoy — on the main square of the village Baki-Nikolskoye at the end of the 19th century. In 1923 the building was nationalized, and a printing house from Varnavino was installed there; it operated until 2017. The museum features permanent exhibitions dedicated to Theodor Stussi and the history of the printing house. In addition, the archives of the local newspaper "Vpered" from 1961 are kept here, and a Soviet journalist's desk has been recreated. Stussi House hosts temporary traveling exhibitions, interactive events, lectures, and film screenings.
