M. V. Frunze House-Museum
About museum
The M. V. Frunze House-Museum in Samara is a monument of residential architecture, built in 1891. The museum has been operating here since February 23, 1934. In 2004, on the eve of the museum's 70th anniversary, a new exhibition was opened presenting materials previously unknown to the public. It tells the story of the Civil War of 1918–1920, the confrontation on the Eastern Front between M. V. Frunze and A. V. Kolchak, about the 'Reds', 'Whites' and 'Greens', anti-Soviet uprisings, desertion, and other pages of history. Thus, the museum offers visitors an incredible opportunity to become acquainted with Russian history.
