Lenin House Museum in Vyborg
About museum
In the house of Finnish journalist and Social Democrat Juhani Latukka and his wife Lyuli-Maria, V. I. Lenin stayed illegally for two weeks in September–October 1917. In 1958 a museum was opened in this house, dedicated to the Russian revolutions of 1917, the struggle between Red and White Finns in 1918 and the activities of the Red Finns in Russia after the defeat of the Finnish revolution, as well as their connections with Lenin. The museum regularly holds exhibitions and interactive programs for children and their parents that introduce them to the culture and daily life of Vyborg residents in the early 20th century.
