The house museum presents the history of his life and work. The I. S. Klyuchnikov-Palantay House Museum, dedicated to the composer who lived from 1886 to 1926, was opened on March 16, 1960 by order of the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR and became a branch of the Mari Republican Local History Museum. The museum houses 111 exhibits reflecting the composer's life and work. The house museum consists of three rooms: a living room, a study, and a children's room. Personal belongings, manuscripts, household items, furniture, and the composer's musical instruments are kept here. I. S. Klyuchnikov-Palantay was one of the first to lay the foundation for the musical future of the Mari people. The house museum presents the history of his life and work, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the composer's birth.
