About museum

The exhibition hall attracts visitors with its interesting and innovative projects and also works to promote visual art in Perm and the surrounding region. The exhibition hall in Perm has existed since 1976 and is the main center for presenting visual art. Over the years the hall has held many events, including lectures and meetings with leading art historians, inter-museum exhibitions, screenings of auteur films, and performances. The exhibition hall also collaborates with many institutions and institutes in Perm and across Russia, as well as with Perm and foreign artists, curators, and art historians. The hall draws visitors with a variety of contemporary projects and promotes visual art in Perm and Perm Region.
