Petushinsky District Center for Applied and Artistic Creativity
About museum
Located in the heart of the town on the site of a former school, the Center for Applied and Artistic Creativity has operated since 2003. Visitors can view temporary exhibitions devoted to the centuries-old history of the Petushinsky district, as well as the permanent exhibition A Journey with Yerofeyev. Moscow — Petushki. In addition, the center hosts Culture Days, concerts, exhibitions of decorative and applied arts and painting, and musical evenings. The center's collections include more than 400 works of art by artists of the former USSR, donated by philanthropist and collector N. I. Kornilov, over 100 graphic works, and approximately 200 Christmas tree ornaments from the 19th–20th centuries. It blends tradition and modernity.
