About museum

A legendary meeting place for avant‑garde artists, directors and writers has now been transformed into a unique museum dedicated to the musical culture of the Soviet era.

\r\nThe museum's exhibition includes:
\r\n◽a reconstruction of a USSR recording studio
\r\n◽an exhibition dedicated to Nizhny Novgorod musicians
\r\n◽a collection of radio and audio equipment from Gorky factories
\r\n◽an archive of The Beatles fans from the 1960s
\r\n◽an exhibition of Soviet postcards with portraits of celebrated actors — natives of our region.
\r\n◽an exhibition of pin‑up style posters by artist Valery Barykin.
\r\n◽a souvenir shop with vinyl records (you can listen and purchase)
\r\n
\r\nAt the entrance there is a display case with handmade items: badges featuring images of iconic rock musicians, postcards, books by Nizhny Novgorod writers and poets.
