About museum

A legendary meeting place for avant-garde artists, directors and writers has now been transformed into a unique museum dedicated to the musical culture of the Soviet era.

The museum's exhibition includes:
◽a reconstruction of a Soviet recording studio
◽an exhibition dedicated to Nizhny Novgorod musicians
◽a collection of radio and audio equipment from Gorky factories
◽an archive of The Beatles fans from the 1960s
◽an exhibition of Soviet postcards with portraits of celebrated actors — natives of our region.
◽a display of pin-up style posters by artist Valery Barykin.
◽a souvenir shop with vinyl records (you can listen and purchase)

At the entrance there is a showcase with handmade items: badges featuring iconic rock musicians, postcards, and books by Nizhny Novgorod writers and poets.
