Akbulak Historical and Local Lore Museum named after I. P. Redko

The Municipal Budgetary Cultural Institution 'Akbulak Historical and Local Lore Museum named after I. P. Redko' was established on March 5, 2008 by order of the head of the municipal formation 'Akbulak District', A. A. Kuzmin. In May 2011 the museum was named after I. P. Redko, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and an honorary citizen of the Akbulak District. The total area of the institution is 361.4 sq. m, of which 338 sq. m is exhibition space, and 311 sq. m is park area. The museum has seven halls: an exhibition hall, an ethnographic hall, a nature hall, two halls of military and labor glory, and two historical halls. The museum is a historical and cultural monument of the Akbulak District.
