May 18, 2024 - Guided tour program of the State Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky

In 2024 the “Days of Historical and Cultural Heritage” event is held in Moscow for the 24th time.

On this day all museums, exhibition halls, parks, libraries and cultural centers subordinate to the Moscow City Department of Culture hold tours, exhibitions, concerts, master classes, quests, lectures and other events. Muscovites will have a unique opportunity to visit architectural monuments, museums, memorial complexes, take guided walking routes, and learn much new about Moscow's historical heritage. The event programme includes activities for children and their parents, as well as for people with disabilities.

On this day the State Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky (Moscow) has prepared the following programme:

Tour of the museum’s multimedia exhibition (11:00 and 16:00);
Thematic walking tour “Vysotsky’s Taganka” (13:00);
Thematic tour “Gifts to Vladimir Vysotsky” (15:00)
Presentation of the programme “The Autograph and Its Context” as part of the exhibition “Unique Autographs in the Family of the Writer E.N. Chirikov” at 17:00.
The tour of the multimedia exhibition will begin at 11:00. The route includes a walk through the halls: “The Beginning of the Path”; “Theatre and Cinema”; “Love and Friendship” and “Songs and Poems”. Visitors will see authentic belongings of Vladimir Semyonovich Vysotsky; original handwritten manuscripts of his poems; family photographs from his albums; musical instruments; excerpts from films and performances featuring Vysotsky; and his holographic image.

At 13:00 a thematic walking tour “Vysotsky’s Taganka” will be organised for visitors, which will tell the history of the Tagansky district, the history of the Taganka Theatre and the history of the creation of the Vladimir Vysotsky Museum.

At 15:00 the tour “Gifts to Vladimir Vysotsky” will be organised, giving visitors a unique opportunity to visit the memorial museum complexes: “Living Room”; “Kitchen”; “Vladimir Vysotsky’s Study” and to learn about the gifts that the poet’s friends gave him.
