The House of Folk Masters hosts a permanent exhibition of decorative and applied arts titled "Talents of the Vladimir Region." Visitors can not only view the displays and take part in interactive programs, but also make a commemorative souvenir themselves. The exhibition brings together craftsmen and amateur artists from 16 districts of the region. The decorative and applied arts display features all the crafts practiced in the area: blacksmithing and pottery, weaving from natural materials, wood carving and painting, embroidery and weaving, bobbin lace-making, clay toys, and traditional costume. A reverent attitude toward folk tradition, a deep understanding of it, and a creative reinterpretation have been decisive for the authors of the works of decorative and applied art.
