There are several house-museums of A. P. Gaidar in Russia: in Arzamas, in Lgov, and in Klin. A small, cozy museum that fully reflects everyday life of the late 1930s–early 1940s (20th century). Arkady Gaidar — a largely legendary figure — commanded in the war at a young age and wrote stories and novellas for teenagers that remain very relevant today. The Klin house was the last where Gaidar lived. The museum preserves the furnishings of that period. Display panels present documents about Gaidar, his family, life in Klin; and editions of his works.
