Costumed exhibition of the "Shaft" hall complex
About exhibition
Displayed are miners' lamps from the late 19th century, pre-revolutionary hand tools, a coal shearer, a drilling rig, an electric locomotive, a conveyor, a jackhammer, a loading machine, a drill, a mine fan, freight and personnel mine carts, and much more. The "Shaft" complex offers visitors the chance to follow a miner's daily route: the assignment room, dispatcher's office, lamp room, timekeeping office, locker room, the cage for descent into the mine, a modern fully-mechanized longwall and a tunneling face. The exhibition is rich in unique museum items that illustrate the mechanization of the main tunneling processes in the mine. Of particular interest is a life-size mine drift assembled from authentic mining equipment and materials. Advance booking by phone: +7 (86361) 5-88-65.
