Exhibition of the Palace and Park Pavilions at the Kuskovo Estate
About exhibition
The Kuskovo Museum-Estate is a unique cultural monument of the 18th century, one of the earliest examples of summer country residences in Russia. A single ticket grants access to all pavilions open that day. These include: the Palace, whose artistic decoration and furnishings have been restored according to inventories from the 1780s-1790s; the Grotto, whose cabinets are decorated with a unique finish made from 24 types of shells from tropical seas; the Hermitage, which hosts exhibitions of the State Museum of Ceramics; the Kuskovo estate Portrait Gallery in the Large Stone Orangery — one of the most valuable national collections of portrait painting and a true rarity of 18th-century Russian culture; as well as the Italian and Dutch Cottages. Opening hours of the pavilions can be checked on the museum-estate's official website. Photography and videography are not included in the ticket price.
