About museum
In 1979, veterans of war and labor founded the Local History Museum. The work was organized by a group of initiators led by Yurin M. I., Batanina A. S., Rasstegaeva V. N., Gorshenin V. S., Zemskovykh A. A. and A. G. However, on December 21, 1993, a fire destroyed the museum. On October 10, 1996, it was restored and became a structural subdivision of the Center of Culture and Leisure. The museum's collections consist of more than five thousand items and archival documents. The exhibitions cover areas such as a Bashkir homestead, the region's nature, representatives of flora and fauna, history and ethnography, the Great Patriotic War, education, healthcare, culture and art, and economic and administrative displays. The museum also presents materials on the establishment of Soviet power in Preobrazhensk, as well as the history of the founding of individual enterprises and services. The izba displays household items.
