Exhibition Pavilion of the Khmelita Museum-Reserve
About museum
The exhibition hall, part of the architectural and landscape complex of the hereditary estate of the Griboyedov noble family, regained its former renown and reputation as a cultural aristocratic hub in the second half of the 19th century while owned by Count Heiden-Volkov during the period from 1892 to 1917. In 2011–2013 the restoration of the northwest wing began, and in May 2014 the exhibition hall was opened, where ceremonial events, meetings, museum exhibition showings and mini-concerts are held. The building's architectural appearance, interiors and façade treatments were carefully studied using surviving photographs, drawings and descriptions. It also houses the museum-reserve's auxiliary workshops.
