Exhibition Complex 'Salute, Victory!'
About museum
At the moment the exhibition complex is closed for renovation. However, even during reconstruction work we continue to promote the ideas of military-patriotic education and do everything possible to preserve the memory of the Great Victory.
The exhibition complex "Salute, Victory!" was created in Orenburg for the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The project involved N. A. Yeremina and N. M. Plyashesnik. The museum exhibition features more than 60 specimens of weapons, military, agricultural, automotive and railway equipment, and industrial machinery. The exhibition complex is one of the departments of the Orenburg Governor's Historical and Local Lore Museum and serves as a center for military-patriotic education of children and youth in the region. Days of Military Glory, meetings with veterans of the Great Patriotic War, lessons in courage, guided tours, concerts and other events are held here. The complex is visited by more than 25,000 people annually; about 50 mass events and over 200 tours are held.
