The Municipal Budgetary Institution "Tatsinsky Museum of History and Local Lore" performs the main tasks of collecting and preserving museum objects and collections, and public education. As part of this activity the museum conducts research on museum objects and collections, organizes exhibitions and publishes their materials, and also holds museum lessons, meetings, open-house days and Museum Night. In 2015 the museum was visited by 4,705 people; 163 guided tours were conducted; 23 exhibitions were organized, including 12 outside the museum and 1 exhibition from the collections of the Morozovsky Historical and Local History Museum. In addition, compliance with safety and fire protection regulations is monitored.
