P. M. Zernov Park of Culture and Recreation
About museum
P. M. Zernov Park of Culture and Recreation, opened in 1948, became a popular place for leisure and for gatherings of people who came to the city to build nuclear weapons. In the center of the park there is a dance floor, a reading pavilion, and a billiard room, and in winter a ski rental center operates. Currently the park is part of the Sarov Center for the Development of Culture and Art, where 15 attractions operate, one of which — "Indian River" — was opened in 2015. Traditional holidays are held here, including New Year, Maslenitsa, Children's Day, and Family Day, and in the summer children's camps are organized. The dance floor is one of the park's signature features and attracts many people, making it the city's cultural center. The dance floor still attracts many people and has become a hallmark of this park.
