N. Ostrovsky Park
About museum
The history of N. Ostrovsky Park began in 1894, when Armenian merchant Minas Ilyich Balabanov decided to plant three groves. Over the years the park has changed and acquired different names, but one thing has remained unchanged — the park administration's attentive attitude toward visitors. On the park administration's notice board there is a "Book of Appeals" where residents and guests of the city can leave their suggestions and wishes. As a result, new recreation areas and projects are being developed. The park offers free internet access via Wi‑Fi, and in 2014 a space for outdoor training workouts was opened. Visitors can also rent bicycles and use bike paths, as well as play paintball and laser tag. N. Ostrovsky Park is a place to experience vivid emotions and enjoy active recreation.
