Ganshin Estate Museum
About museum
Located on the border of the Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions, 28 kilometers from Pereslavl-Zalessky, on the banks of the picturesque Shakha River is the museum-reserve 'Ganshin Estate'. In 1991 the museum was temporarily closed because the house needed repairs and the exhibitions had become outdated. But three years later the museum was reopened with updated exhibitions and new themes. For example, the Lenin theme is presented against the background of the life of Pereslavl peasants of that time. Gorki can be reached by bus from Pereslavl, by train from Moscow or Yaroslavl to Ryazantsevo station, and by car via the bypass road to the sign for Yuryev-Polsky.
