About museum
The Spice Museum is an unusual museum that opened its doors to visitors in June 2015. Our museum is the only one in Russia and the third official spice museum in the world.
The museum's mission is to share knowledge about the incredibly rich world of spices in all its diversity, to show how this world has affected individuals and humanity, and to promote the development of gastronomic culture.
The museum's exhibition will tell you what spice plants are, where and how they grow, how they are harvested and processed to produce the aromatic spices that accompany us daily throughout our lives.
