S. A. Gerasimov Museum
About museum
The S. A. Gerasimov Museum houses household items, personal belongings, prizes and awards of the outstanding film director, playwright, screenwriter and teacher. On display are a billiard table, archival documents, a chess set and the cane that Charlie Chaplin gave to S. A. Gerasimov, as well as a recreated study with books, statuettes and items brought from various places. The museum also keeps the posthumous mask of the great film director, as well as footage and props from his films "And Quiet Flows the Don", "The Youth of Peter" and "At the Beginning of Glorious Deeds".
