Museum of Folk Crafts
About museum
At the Museum of Folk Crafts in the town of Semyonov you can learn about traditional trades and crafts used in the 19th–20th centuries. The house housing the museum once belonged to Parfen Semenovich Stroinsky. The exhibition features collections of antique scales, irons, kerosene lamps, clothing, buttons, embroideries, lace, Soviet radio and television equipment, as well as vintage sewing machines. Here you can listen to a gramophone, play vinyl records, and view filmstrips. All of this is part of the private collection of collector Tatyana Ivanovna Sterdenko.
