Madrasah Museum, Satyshevo village
About museum
The building was constructed in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. It was one of the region's major theological educational institutions in the early 20th century. More than 400 students studied there; the madrasah was run by parish imams. The parish clergyman in the mid-19th century was Mubaraksha Yarullin, appointed in 1864. The madrasah building was built in the style of a Tatar residential house with a central entry hall (seni) and two large, well-lit classrooms on either side. The facades combine elements of Classical architecture and Tatar vernacular architecture.
