Museum of Literary Characters from 'The Tales of Belkin'
About museum
In Lvovka, eight kilometers from Bolshoye Boldino, a former gentleman's estate with a park — built in the second half of the 19th century at the initiative of the poet's widow Natalya Nikolaevna Pushkina — has been preserved to this day. On its grounds in 2005 the Museum of Literary Characters from 'The Tales of Belkin' was opened, and nearby is the 'Parish School' museum. In honor of A. S. Pushkin's four children, Natalya Nikolaevna planted four pine trees in front of the house, which have survived to the present day. Near the house one can visit a partially preserved wooden Church of Alexander Nevsky. During the tour, visitors can view the house interiors and park alleys, as well as see memorial items and 19th‑century furniture.
