The Coffee Museum is one of the most unusual and interesting museums in Saint Petersburg, designed for lovers and connoisseurs of real coffee. Here 'show-tastings' of traditional and signature coffee drinks take place, prepared by professional baristas who are participants in Russian and international competitions. In the near future, various events and master classes, as well as educational programs, are planned to be held here. The museum also features a Coffee Terrace where visitors can put their newly acquired knowledge into practice. The aim of the Coffee Museum is to promote the development of coffee culture not only in Saint Petersburg but throughout Russia. On guided tours, visitors learn about the benefits of coffee, the proper ways to prepare and consume the drink, as well as ancient legends and the history of coffee, its production process, and drinking culture. Visitors find out how, when, and from where coffee came to Russia, and where and how it is grown, harvested, prepared, and consumed.
