Museum of the History of the Village of Novoandreyevka
About museum
In the Novoandreyevka village House of Culture there is a museum of the village's history, opened on May 9, 1987 in honor of the 70th anniversary of Soviet rule. The exhibition was created with the work of: Nikolaenko N. V. – consultant of the Crimean Regional Museum of Local Lore; Kondratenko O. D. and Skripchenko M. I. – methodologists of the Regional Museum of Local Lore; and Gordich N. S. – designer-artist of the Regional Art Fund. Three halls are presented here: the Hall of Labor Glory, the ethnographic room, and the international room. The Hall of Labor Glory, opened in 1987, is dedicated to the history of collective-farm development from 1930 to 2000. It displays tools, portraits of honored collective farmers, production growth charts, awards, and 40 photo albums documenting the kolkhoz's history from the commune to the agricultural production unit. The ethnographic room contains items donated by village residents as well as ethnographic exhibits: a spinning wheel, a loom with linen threads, and a baby cradle. There are also exhibits from Crimea, and visitors can see national displays and a library.
