Tauride Palace is an excellent place to learn about the history of Russia.
\r\nIt is hard to imagine a more suitable location for a museum than the Tauride Palace. From 1906 to 1917 it hosted sessions of the State Duma of the Russian Empire. Built for G. A. Potemkin in 1792, it became an imperial residence. Today it houses the headquarters of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member States of the CIS. During a tour, visitors can see three ceremonial halls, the Duma Hall, and exhibitions on the history of Russian parliamentarism. The Tauride Palace is a unique monument of architecture, history and culture, a wonderful place to study the history of Russia. Here you can feel the atmosphere of events from the early 20th century.
