Museum of the History of Krasnoyarsky District
About museum
The Museum of the History of Krasnoyarsky District was established by a resolution of the head of administration in 1999. Since 2001 it has had the official status of a municipal museum and incorporated the department of nature and archaeology. The museum's concept was developed together with the Samara Museum named after Alabin. The organizing committee, which involved methodologist Yu. V. Brykov, organized the work to create the museum, and a scientific-research expedition across the Krasnoyarsky district brought the first exhibits. The museum's aim is to preserve the memory of the district's history, natural riches and cultural traditions. It hosts exhibitions, events, lectures and tours on various topics. The museum has become one of the most popular places in the district and attracts visitors.
