The Kokshaysk History Museum was officially opened in 1994 and is housed in the building of the Kokshaysk Rural House of Culture at: Kokshaysk village, Zavodskaya St., 1a. The founder of the museum and its long-time guide from 1992 to 2016 was veteran educator and former Russian language and literature teacher Patrushev Erik Stepanovich.
