The Fabergé Museum was officially opened on November 19, 2013, in the Shuvalov Palace in Saint Petersburg and became the first non-state (private) museum in Russia with a collection of masterfully crafted works by Carl Fabergé of national and international significance. The most valuable pieces are nine Imperial Easter eggs dedicated to the reign and personal life of Emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II. The museum displays over 4,000 exhibits, including jewelry, silver tableware, decorative objets, and interior and liturgical objects.
