Memorial House‑Museum "Sukhe‑Bator's Conspiratorial Apartment"
About museum
In 1958, at the initiative of the well-known Kyakhta local historian R.F. Tugutov, the memorial house-museum "Sukhe-Bator's Conspiratorial Apartment" was established. It is located in a wooden one-story house from the early 20th century that belonged to Lubsan Tsyrenov, which is recognized as a local historical monument. Here, in 1920–1921, was the apartment of the leader of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, Damdin Sukhe-Bator. In the 16 sq. m. hall the interior of the apartment where D. Sukhe-Bator lived has been recreated. A bust of the leader is installed on the estate grounds.
