Cultural and Exhibition Complex «L. N. T.»
About museum
On June 10, 2021, the Cultural and Exhibition Complex «L. N. T.» was opened in Tula's Museum Quarter. It is a two-story house that once belonged to the merchant Yevfimy Kuchin. On the first floor there is a permanent exhibition dedicated to Tula in the time of Leo Tolstoy. There you can learn what has changed and what has remained the same. The exhibition includes sections on communications, memory/heritage, leisure, transport, trade, education, sports, medicine, art, government services, spiritual life, and the nobility. Here you can send a postcard, see a unique exhibit, and even speak with Tolstoy by telephone. The second floor provides space for temporary exhibitions and lectures. There is also a book and souvenir shop, a literary café, and a mini-hotel. Seasonal events for local residents and visitors are held in the museum courtyard.
