The Museum and Exhibition Center is located on the third floor of the cultural complex 'Library. Local History Museum'. It features three exhibition halls: the first hosts rotating thematic exhibitions, the second houses the permanent exhibition 'From Origins to Modernity', and the third presents the permanent exhibition 'TechnoVintage'. The displays reflect the history of the region, its natural wealth and the peculiarities of life in harsh northern conditions, as well as household items of the Khanty and Mansi peoples, the history of the founding of the town of Pyt-Yakh and the development of the northern oil fields. Augmented reality technologies are provided for visitors to learn about the otter's way of life and oil extraction processes. The center also has equipped storage facilities for preserving museum items and collections.
