Pskov Museum-Reserve Art Gallery
About museum
The complex of buildings of the Pskovo-Izborsk Museum-Reserve includes a building that formerly belonged to the N. F. Fan-der-Flit Art and Industrial School. It was established by the Pskov Archaeological Society as part of the Art and Industrial Museum. The building had a U-shaped layout and faced Zlatoustovsky Lane. It housed classrooms and workshops, while another wing contained a concert hall and the glassblowing workshop 'Shater'. Part of the building facing Nekrasova Street has survived to this day. It remains a 'temple of the arts'. Since the 1950s the Pskov Picture Gallery has been located here; it celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021. The gallery exhibits works from the museum's collections — visual art from the 18th to the early 21st century by well-known artists.
