Izmaylovsky Park of Culture and Recreation is a specially protected natural area and a monument of landscape and park art, and is considered one of the cleanest parks in Europe. It offers visitors a wide variety of sights and entertainment for people of all ages, as well as well-maintained natural areas with rich plant and animal life and clean air. Izmaylovsky Park was opened in 1931 and bore the name I. V. Stalin until 1961. The park's northern boundary is the tram line near Partizanskaya metro station, the eastern boundary is the Main Alley, the southern boundary is Entuziastov Highway, and the western boundary is Elektrodny Proezd and 1st and 2nd streets of the Izmaylovsky Menagerie. Notable attractions include a large Ferris wheel, the Museum of Military Equipment "Ploshchad Muzhestva" (Square of Courage), the 17th-century Round Pond, and the Music Pavilion.
