The Ludorvai museum-reserve is located on the site of the former Ilyinsky settlement, founded in 1885. In 1984 it was decided to open a museum to tell about the traditional culture, everyday life and customs of the peoples. The museum grounds include a street layout, wooden buildings, and examples of wooden architecture from various districts. In 1997 the museum was opened under the name 'Ilinka'. In 2003 it was renamed 'Ludorvai'. The museum-reserve contains sectors where visitors can learn about Russian, Udmurt and Besermyan culture and everyday life. Exhibits include the volost administration house, a traditional wooden homestead, a village reading room (izba-chitalnya), antique tableware, carts, clothing items and a windmill with a grinding mechanism. Visitors can take part in themed and general guided tours and master classes.
