Historical and Cultural Museum of the village of Zavrazhye
About museum
On October 30, 2004, a historical and cultural museum dedicated to the life and work of Andrei Tarkovsky and Pavel Florensky was opened in the village of Zavrazhye. It is located in the restored rural house where A. Tarkovsky was born. Since May 1, 2018, the museum has been a structural unit of the Kadyinsky District Local History Museum. The exhibition of the A. Tarkovsky hall was created by Rashid Safiullin, the artist of the film "Stalker", and Marina Arsenyevna Tarkovskaya donated A. Tarkovsky's belongings, documents, and books to the museum. The P. Florensky hall was designed by Maria Anatolyevna Lyukshina, an icon-painter of the Moscow museum of the priest P. Florensky. Photocopies of documents, laboratory items, photographs and books were transferred for temporary use to P. Florensky's grandson — hegumen Andronik (Trubachev).
