About museum
On the day of the celebrated 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a history and local lore museum was opened. It features three exhibitions: the history of the district from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century; the history of the district from 1935 to the present day; and a hall presenting materials about heroes of the Great Patriotic War, home-front workers, factories and enterprises evacuated from the country's central regions, hospitals, orphanages and other facilities located in the district. The museum displays household items, national costumes, historical documents and photographs.
