The N. V. Stankevich Historical and Literary Museum is located in Uderevka and was opened on May 18, 1990. It was established according to the will of Yanuariy Mikhailovich Neverov, who donated part of his savings for the construction of a school to commemorate his friend N. V. Stankevich. The museum exhibits materials that reflect the main stages of the life and work of the literary critic, professor at St. Petersburg University, and censor A. V. Nikitenko; the poet, philosopher-educator and leader of the literary-philosophical circle in Moscow N. V. Stankevich; and the Latvian folklorist and scholar K. Barons. In addition, the museum displays household items. It traces the contributions of N. V. Stankevich and K. Barons to the history and culture of Russia. The museum serves as a place of remembrance and an appeal to spiritual values. The museum presents a rich collection of materials related to the life and work of N. V. Stankevich and K.
