Historical and Local History Museum of the Yakovlevsky Urban District
About museum
The Historical and Local History Museum of the Yakovlevsky Urban District houses valuable collections: photographic materials, documents, household items, ethnographic exhibits, numismatics, archaeological artifacts and others. Here visitors can learn about the symbols of the urban district and the region, find out about the history of the district's establishment and, subsequently, the urban district, and obtain information about awards bestowed on local residents. Each year the museum is visited by more than 13,000 people. Museum staff conduct tours, museum lessons, museum salons, themed evenings, meetings with notable locals, round-table discussions, literary salons and other events.
