Insar Local History Museum
About museum
On February 19, 1987, on the occasion of the town's 340th anniversary, the Insar Local History Museum was opened. Until 2000 it was located in the building of the St. Olga Church, and afterwards in the building of a former cinema. The museum presents all the main stages of the development of the Insar district, divided into halls: historical, archaeological, ethnographic, hall of military glory, contemporary history, nature, and space. The museum's collections include personal belongings, documents, and photographs of notable people who are the pride and glory of the Insar district and the whole country: I. V. Boldina, I. G. Sovetnikova, G. V. Mukhina, I. S. Molina, I. G. Blinkova, G. V. Pariysky, A. I. Kurdyukov.
