About museum
Work on creating the Museum of Glory of the Khvorostyansky Land began in 2005 at the House of Children's Creativity under the direction of N. A. Fedkina. In 2006, exhibits from the school museum of the village of Khvorostyanka were transferred, and in 2007 the museum had its official opening. In 2018, major work began on creating and arranging the exhibitions (designer — L. V. Fedkin). The museum's collections increased thanks to exhibits from the school museums of the villages Vladimirovka, Abashevo, and M-Lebyazhye. On September 25, 2019, the museum became a structural subdivision of the Municipal Budgetary Institution "Intersettlement Department of Culture" of the Khvorostyansky Municipal District of the Samara Region and received the status of a museum and exhibition center. It offers a wide range of services, including exhibitions in the halls 'Military Glory', 'Origins', 'Life and Everyday Life of the Residents of the Khvorostyansky District in the 19th–20th centuries', guided tours and exhibitions, museum quests, a game library, an annual regional competition of creative and research works, an annual regional local history olympiad, a museum lounge, and animated video tours.
