Picture. Portrait of Alexander Kharitonov.
The painting is a chest portrait of Karelian watercolor artist A. P. Kharitonov, a friend of the author of the work E. A. Sudakov. The portrait, painted in a brownish-green color scheme, stands out with a snow-white shirt collar on a dark background. The person being portrayed has sunken cheeks and sad eyes, his gaze is directed to the left, and his head is slightly tilted to the right shoulder. Behind Kharitonov's right shoulder, there is a conventional image of a half-figure in a striped scarf, made in red and blue shades. On the reverse side of the canvas there is a silhouette drawing of a vase with three branches, and on the stretcher the dimensions of the work and the name of the author are indicated.
