Watercolour. Summer on Kizhi Island

The watercolor "Summer on Kizhi Island" by Vladimir Mikhailovich Balandin is a horizontal landscape painted in the summer of 2012. In the foreground is a field with rye gathered in piles, plowed land and a variety of grasses. On the right, in the middle part of the leaf, there is a brown wooden house of the koshel type (Oshevnev's house) surrounded by dark green trees, in front of it is a barn. On the left is a blue-lilac lake with a light blue ship. In the background there are islands with dirty green trees, the blue forest of the mainland and the blue sky with light clouds. The work is done on paper with whitewash and watercolor.
