Kotel'nich City Garden
About museum
\r\nThe Kotel'nich City House of Culture includes the City Garden as one of its structural subdivisions; the garden was founded in 1852. Initially it was located on the outskirts of the town, but over time it was transformed. In the 1930s a stadium, a parachute tower, a summer theater, a dance floor and a wind orchestra appeared. Famous Soviet artists performed here. The City Garden became a favorite place of recreation for residents and visitors of the town, as well as a venue for mass events. Today a children's playground has been built here; there are sculptures of fairy-tale characters, the Arch of Fidelity; paths have been asphalted, and benches and trash bins have been replaced. Mass events and the regional competition of choreographic ensembles 'Wider Circle' are held on the grounds of the City Garden.
